The bees were swarming in around a nest of sticks collecting visions from the hills and towns lights out for the city Sine waves were closing in crashing on shores of black sand lights on the wings of planes lights out for the city

In the village, at the shore dresses and hair all tangled with straw See-through witness dead leaves and text red shapes through the effort on the baby's face At the crust of utopia, at the crust of the town here in the backslide we go tumbling down Hands on the pressure no leave to remake Hands under pressure new food to bake Beast of Bermondsey, railed in a tent Gloucester's feed all dripping and bent Alive in the village Awake at the shore Dresses and hair all tangled with straw At the crust of utopia at the crust of the town here in the backslide we go tumbling down in blooms of immediacy tumbling down

40 days in the belly of the sky counting out these pearls 40 nights in the belly of the earth that flame is the grave for the lights you save and inside I hammered out the hope for rain give what is holy to the dogs, and throw your words between the gates, across the glass and the across the gold lords in the sinew will save a life and this ground is terrifying, holding back our lives our lives our lives

break the reason.. on all fours on all walls the cipher ranks the coal and throne and we break our teeth on the crust of utopia new world of myth went underground it sounds like violence again at the crust of utopia and we break our teeth on the crust of utopia sailing westwards with stones in our beaks ready to drop ready to sink the belief in these human tones these silent bones and take a new bite of a new pie in the course of processions there is electricity at the crust of utopia and we break our teeth on the crust of utopia crack our baby teeth on the crust of utopia and we break our teeth on the crust of utopia
